BCCG has a completely different grading scale. A BCCG 8 is “Excellent or better” while a BGS 8 is “near mint to mint”. What is the difference between BCCG and BGS? BGS is for modern cards. BVG is for vintage, and BCCG is something different still that was supposed to be some type of collectors club as a cheaper option.

The good news about Beckett being notorious for over grading is that you can still find some hidden gems for a very good price. I have had luck with cracking out several BVG to PSA. They all came back with the same grade except one that was .5 grade lower but I was still able to sell it for much more than I paid for it.The corners were terrible and in no way could be considered a 10. BCCG is Definitely a ripoff. I got a 10 mint or better from a box sold by mj holding company. The ones that you can find at Walmart and this graded 10 card has a substantial dent on the top edge. Not something that could be remotely missed by a grading company. These companies that do this, should be held accountable for fraud. It's despicable
