Drops in lost sector appear to prioritize exotics you haven't picked up yet. Once all are obtained, it is random. I'd put drop rate at about 1 exotic per 4 to 6 runs on average from running a bunch if legendary difficulty last night. Master should increase this so maybe 1 exo per 3 to 4 runs from what I saw in the past on another character.

Personally, I think Legend’s exotic drop rate is ok. Guaranteed rewards of enhancement cores and maybe prisms on the other hand would be nice for when you don’t get an exotic. That being said Master needs a serious bump. I’m talking at least a 50% chance, if not higher. I can assure you, it is not a common chance. Please buff the drop chance, in general, or just for platinum rewards. When this is my best chance for getting an exotic I want, it shouldn't take over 7 hours to get a single drop. This has literally lost me sleep. This should not be the norm for getting exotics.
