Dayz has been out for 8 years looks terrible has more of survival stuff fleshed out but Scum looks amazing and has more things to actually explore and has only been out 3 years so hasn’t hit its final form or greatest potential yet, where DayZ is getting tired and really doesn’t have much anywhere else to go without a complete remake IMO.

But I'd say summer camps and Hunter stands would be a good bet. I've played on a modded server with sleeping bags. They were in houses and grocery stores. Impssible for us to tell.. They are a server mod, so it'll be best to find the server discord. Prob in their FAQs, but you can ask someone there too.

If you go over the cap, you get kicked. Best to find a server that is closer and has a good ping. Have you tried to join different servers to check if you have this problem there too? (Try community and official and chose a server close to your location) You can check if you have packet loss.

If your stats are full (food and water) than blood regeneration ticks at 15ml of blood regained per minute, at the lowest of lows before death in this blinking state, it would take approx. 8-9 minutes to get out of the blinking zone.
