3 years ago. The main box and xb7 are both connected independently via coax and use moca to communicate and then the xb7 communicates with the xb7. There is no Ethernet signal out of the main box for the xi6 to use, it should be hardwired to the xb7 or use a wireless signal. ( edited)

I ran the "power" from the wall outlet adapter to the the 15V 400mA port. Next I ran the coax cables (all pre-existing installed with home some thicker some not so thick) from the "output" ports to all my tvs boxes.
