This solenoid has to have battery voltage at all times the key is on. Find the solenoid, and check it for voltage with key on, if ti has voltage, and does not retract and hold, the solenoid is bad. If it does not have voltage to it, check upstream by using wire color, to see where voltage is lost. I will try thiis.
